My father was a carpenter and I always fancied myself as a bit of a handy man with building and renovations. The first two photos are of a stairway to the basement that was too steep and was removed. It is now re-finished and completly gone.

This was one of our summer projects. We re-finished and the deck with new carpet and re-painted the posts on the deck. I think it looks much better in white.

The basement bathroom was one of the first projects we undertook when we moved here

This is the end result

The upstairs bathroom came next.

Back door with old stairs in the foregound

Some of the final bathroom fixtures

Working on the floor in the basement

Finished floor

New fireplace in the basement.

In 2013 I started renovating the outside siding of the basement
Then in 2014 decided to have all the siding replaced, insulation added and all new windows.
2015 a new livingroom floor
In 2016 we decided to remove the basement stairs and relocate them down the hall
